As many of you know, I am staying home this year with my daughter, Raegan Phair. She is already 7 months old today. I can't believe how quickly she is growing up!
I try my best to continue blogging here with educational posts, but for now, most of my posts are over at my personal blog, The Mrs. & Co.
And if you have kids, make sure you head over and follow my blog, because I am giving away a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins for my birthday starting on Monday, March 2.

Cyber Monday Blog Hop Stop #17

Primary Powers and GoNoodle have created the dynamic duo! We are sharing all of our best ideas of using GoNoodle. You have landed at stop #17.
Or if you'd like, you can hop over to Molly's blog and start from the beginning.
For my tip I want to talk about using GoNoodle to satisfy your PE minutes. I know that in some districts your class has PE during their specials, but sometimes even though your students go to PE, there isn't enough time in the day to satisfy the amount of minutes that the state requires your students to be active.

Well why not incorporate GoNoodle? It allows your students to be active and dancing to songs that they know and love!

Choose a time throughout the week (maybe Friday afternoon) that you will do a few songs from GoNoodle and VOILA! You have met your PE minutes for the week! Easy right?

Well, so is signing up. Just go to www.gonoodle.com and take less than a minute and you're in!

And wouldn't it be so impressive to have an answer to the "How will you incorporate PE into your classroom?" for that job interview?! SHA-BAM!

Starting on Cyber Monday, GoNoodle is also offering all Primary Powers readers 30% off purchases from GoNoodle Shop through December 8! Use the code POWERS30 at checkout to receive the discount PLUS a special gift from GoNoodle and Primary Powers. In addition to new t-shirts, tumblers, and other goodies for GoNoodling teachers, you can purchase affordable, pre-wrapped gift packs for students to bring a little GoNoodle love to your classroom this holiday.

You can also enter to win a set of GoNoodle tattoos for your whole class!

Keep hopping! More great tips, free swag giveaways on every page, and a great last stop! Your next stop is the lovely Latoya Reed from Flying Into First Grade.
Happy GoNoodling!

I can't thank them enough for coming along side me for this amazing journey and for also donating to this amazing giveaway!

And of course, I have to thank YOU! My amazing followers, readers, and friends! You are the ONLY reason I have hit any of these milestones. From my family and I, I can't thank you enough!

As we have all settled into school and you have implemented your reading and math centers, you may have also had to start making more and more centers. We do so much for our kids and those centers can take so much time!

Well I have the PERFECT thing for you! I have put together a set of math, writing, and reading PRINT and GO centers! Did I have you at print at go? Love at first sight, I'm sure!

There are great math worksheets that include practice in adding, subtracting, shapes, counting, graphing, and number words. Here's a peak at one of the math pages!
Here in a sneak peak at two of the reading activities. I included Short Vowels, Rhyming Words, Beginning Sounds, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves Sequencing Book, The Tree's Life Cycle Book, Orange Pumpkin, Orange Pumpkin Book, and ABC order

For the writing activities I included 5 writing prompts, a cloze activity, fill in the blank, and a fun fall mobile where they write their favorite fall activities! Check out the mobile.

Take a look at everything else included, and if you'd like to win a copy, head over to my facebook page! Just in time to print and use next week! Hope you have a great Friday!

Five for Friday {summer edition}

This is my first week of summer so most of my Five for Friday have to do with summer. If you are still in school, I'm sorry! Scroll to the bottom for my last five for Friday post. It has to do with school :)
#1 Here is my sweet Stella enjoying our first day of summer! She's excited to have her momma home!

#2 My students gave me a gift card to Anthropologie (my downfall) and I had some fun shopping through the online store. I called their customer service number, ordered this amazing dress, and it came in today. All of this happened without me even having to leave my couch!! So excited!

#3 And here is why being able to buy this dress from the couch was such a great thing! I have had a bad back since high school. I will randomly tweak my back due to intense working out or lifting things that are too heavy. And last weekend I was packing up my classroom and BAM! threw my back out again. Since it's summer, I finally went in for an MRI on Tuesday and it turns out that I have bulging disks on my L4 and L5 vertebrae. Yep. I'm 27 and I have the back of an 90 year old who will be doing physical therapy twice a week until further notice. I'm finally starting to feel better but my back is still crazy tender!
white arrow shows a good disk, the red arrow shows a bulging disk
at least my day was better than this guy! Poor thing broke his arm!
#4 So after leaving the doctor it was time to treat myself to some pamper time and I got my nails did! Loved how they turned out!

#5 I promised there was alittle bit of school in this post and here it is! My chevron decor packet!! I have been working on it all week since I've been couch ridden and I am so stinkin' excited how it turned out! It includes a number line, days of the week, months of the year, calendar numbers, color posters, number posters, schedule posters, shape posters, table numbers, student numbers, and alphabet posters.

Each set will be posted on Teachers Pay Teachers this weekend! *Fingers crossed!*

And I would LOVE to give this WHOLE decor packet away! Here's how you enter. Make sure to leave your email address so I know how to send it to!

EDIT-- Samantha J you won my packet! Please email me at flyinghighinfirstgrade@gmail.com so I can send you the packet! If I do not hear from you by Tuesday, I will pick a new winner!

1. Leave a comment for following my blog
2. Leave a comment for following my TpT store
3. Leave a comment for following my facebook page
4. Leave a comment for pinning my chevron packet (pinning this blog post is fine) with the pin link

Giveaway ends on Sunday at 7pm (CST) Good luck!
