Since I had such a good day back, I want to have a little giveaway! I would like to giveaway my Shamrocks and Springtime math and literacy centers. There are 10 centers included. Lots of great activities for your kids for the months of March and April. Check out the activities included below!

It's your lucky day!
I am teaming up with Megan from Mrs. Wheeler's First Grade Tidbits for a great sale!
Myself along with lots of other bloggers are giving 20% off our entire store for St. Patrick's Day! It's just in time since I finally finished my "Shamrocks and Springtime" math and literacy centers and they were just posted to my store. Get them while they are on sale!
I also just finished up my time unit "Tick Tock Goes the Clock" Almost 40 pages of great resources to teach time to the hour and half hour and also duration of time. My kids always have trouble with understanding how long a second, minute, and hour are. These activities will help teach that.
Also check out my Calendar Time Unit. I use this every morning and it's great for all learning levels. I've used it every year while being in first grade and it wasn't until this year that I finally put my calendar time to paper. It's been very helpful to see who knows what. I love seeing my low babies have that "lightbulb" moment when we work on hundreds, tens, and ones.
Also some of my other favorites are my behavior unit, Clippin' Up, Under the Sea: Ocean Craftivities, Y as "e or i", and my Living and Non-Living Unit. Enjoy shopping!
Also, Lisa over at Growing Firsties has just hit some amazing milestones and she is throwing an amazing MEGA giveaway! Head on over to get in on the goodness of the prizes!

blogging anniversary giveaway and Five for Friday
Alright, I am putting two blog posts into one. I'm loving being at home for Spring Break and getting to blog more than usual! First off, head on over to 2 Crazy Texas Teachers and enter their blog anniversary giveaway. There are TONS of great prizes to win! I'm crossing my fingers!
Second, I am linking up with Doodle Bug's Five for Friday.
This is my first Five for Friday and this one will be quite boring. I haven't had much to do this week. Hubby had surgery so we have been hanging low.
1. Today I got to go back to my high school and judge the officer tryouts for our drill team. I was on the drill team back in the day and it was so much fun to relive the glory days!
2. I have been LOVING hanging with these two fur babies. They really are the sweetest pups you could ever ask for!
3. I worked out 4 times over Spring Break! You heard me right. 4 times!!! I'm very proud of myself. I've started doing workouts from pinterest. Here are two of my favorites. Does a body good!
4. I finished this unit yesterday while watching 24 on netflix. Such an addicting show!
5. I am loving spring colors!! Here is what my nails look like right now. Love fun sparkly colors!!
Have fun and go link up!

Let's Get Acquainted!
I love the opportunity for a linky party! I am linking up with Flying into First Grade.
I feel like we have a connection since both of our blogs have to do with flying :) So this linky party is to get to know some of the amazing bloggers that make up the teaching blog world! You are supposed to use your initials and share 3 things about yourself that you like or like to do.
So here we go. My first initial is A, for Ashley.
This one is EASY! I'm an Aggie! I went to Texas A&M University and I am so proud to be an Aggie. I love everything about my college.
My 2nd initial is P for Phair. (I know, strange middle name. It's Danish. My great grandfather made up the name and it's my grandmother and mom's first name and my middle name. Phair will definitely be passed onto my girls. Ok, onto the letter P.
Pino Noir! Am I allowed to say that on a teaching blog? Oh well! I'm going to say it! I love wine. There I said it. Here's my FAVORITE kind of wine. Cupcake, pino noir. Go try it. You won't regret it!
Ok, last initial. S for Sanderson.
SLEEP! I love to sleep. My husband seriously thinks there is something wrong with me, but I love to sleep! I at least need 8 hours a night or I'm useless. I think the longest I've slept (without being sick) would be 16 hours. Better get use to not having alot of sleep, Mr. Husband and I are wanting a baby! hopefully that will a blog post soon!
Be sure to include the linky graphic and link it back to Mrs. Reed so others can join in on the fun!!!
Don't forget to visit the 2 people that linked up before you and leave them a comment/follow/or just read their post.

It has arrived!! {spring break}
Spring Break is here!! I cannot tell you how much I needed this and how much my kids needed it. I'm ready for a week off to get rested and then began the last stretch of the school year. We are 56 days away till the end of school. My how the year has flown. My spring break will include lots of resting, taking care of my husband (he's having surgery, that's a whole other blog post), and possibly starting my March math/literacy centers. And of course spending lots of my time with my fur babies. I will leave you with a picture of one of my sweet fur babies who is snoring next to me right now as I watch "He's Just Not That Into You". So glad I'm no longer in the dating world! DRAMA and so confusing!
Have a good week to those who are on spring break as well!

For now, let's just go with the winner. Drum roll.... the winner is Crystal Shepherd! I used the random number generator (aka asked the husband to pick a number 1-6). Crystal, I've sent you an email. Let me know if you don't get it.
