Then and Now Thanksgiving Unit

Well Dana from Scrappin' Doodles does it again! I contacted her with an idea for a fun Thanksgiving clip art set and she blew my expectations away! This unit wouldn't have been possible with her! So without further ado, here my newest unit!

This is a fun unit to teach right around Thanksgiving time. My kids always love it! They can't believe how the pilgrims used to live! Some of my favorite books to read that go along with my unit are the "If You Lived..." books.




Here are some of the activities included in the unit with many more as well!

    This pack looks like so much fun. I just love teaching everything in this unit. It is one of my favorites! I do like the idea of the "flip chart" for sorting then and now or "what did the pilgrims pack?" Thanks for sharing your ideas!

    I love the 'then' and 'now'. It's so hard to convey how long ago things were!
