Cyber Monday Blog Hop Stop #17

Primary Powers and GoNoodle have created the dynamic duo! We are sharing all of our best ideas of using GoNoodle. You have landed at stop #17.
Or if you'd like, you can hop over to Molly's blog and start from the beginning.
For my tip I want to talk about using GoNoodle to satisfy your PE minutes. I know that in some districts your class has PE during their specials, but sometimes even though your students go to PE, there isn't enough time in the day to satisfy the amount of minutes that the state requires your students to be active.

Well why not incorporate GoNoodle? It allows your students to be active and dancing to songs that they know and love!

Choose a time throughout the week (maybe Friday afternoon) that you will do a few songs from GoNoodle and VOILA! You have met your PE minutes for the week! Easy right?

Well, so is signing up. Just go to www.gonoodle.com and take less than a minute and you're in!

And wouldn't it be so impressive to have an answer to the "How will you incorporate PE into your classroom?" for that job interview?! SHA-BAM!

Starting on Cyber Monday, GoNoodle is also offering all Primary Powers readers 30% off purchases from GoNoodle Shop through December 8! Use the code POWERS30 at checkout to receive the discount PLUS a special gift from GoNoodle and Primary Powers. In addition to new t-shirts, tumblers, and other goodies for GoNoodling teachers, you can purchase affordable, pre-wrapped gift packs for students to bring a little GoNoodle love to your classroom this holiday.

You can also enter to win a set of GoNoodle tattoos for your whole class!

Keep hopping! More great tips, free swag giveaways on every page, and a great last stop! Your next stop is the lovely Latoya Reed from Flying Into First Grade.
Happy GoNoodling!

Veteran's Day FREEBIE

I know it's been awhile since I've checked in, but this little miss has been occupying LOTS of my time!
And when she doesn't like to take naps during the day, the poor little blog gets pushed to the back burner.

But I'm here while she's taking a short nap to let you know about a Veteran's Day freebie I have! It's a great activity for students to practice a little research and writing facts about some of the amazing symbols that we have in our history because of the veterans who fought for those freedoms!

And if you are looking for a great past and present unit, this is your unit! My students always LOVE hearing about how things were in the past. They can't believe there were no cell phones back then :)

And if you need a fun Thanksgiving craftivity, I've gotcha back for that too!
Enjoy!
