trying a few new things

Alright, I am considering doing Daily 5 for my literacy block next year. I have heard good and bad things about it. What's your take on it? I am afraid they are going to get tired of doing the same thing all the time. I'd love to hear from those who have loved it and those who didn't.

Also, a friend of mine from college (we went to Texas A&M, WHOOP!) has just started a blog and you have to check it out! She has lots of fun freebies and you need to go follow her. So get on it!

Her name is Casey Dawson and her blog title is "Keeping Up With the Kindergarteners". I love the show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" so her blog title just cracked me up! Can you just imagine all the "drama" that happens in the Kardashian family, it's the same in a kinder class!

    I adore you! You are too sweet! You definitely need to read up on Daily 5. It has completely changed my approach to literacy centers. My kids each year have loved it and their fluency, stamina, etc. has just taken off! Let me know if you need any help. I have a Daily 5 for Dummies guide that is awesome for launching.
