Five for Friday and Fabulous Feedback

I don't know about you, but things are getting busy around my house! As a teacher, I LOVE my few months of summer, but I also enjoy getting busy about this time of year. My husband always says there's no way I couldn't work, because I enjoy working and being busy! He is so right! By August, I'm ready to start work again!

Unfortunately, my job this year doesn't have me start work until October. I know! How dare I complain about that! But the GOOD news for YOU about me not going back until October is that I have lots of extra time to bust out some amazing units for YOU!

I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday so you can see the amazing things I've been working on this week!

#1 My first unit is my Texas unit, which is such an important unit because social studies can get skipped over so easily in the classroom. This unit includes math, reading, and writing activities that makes it easy to integrate into the classroom. If you're not from Texas, well, you should totally move here because our schools are amazing! HA!

#2 I also whipped up this little gem to introduce science into your classroom! Another subject that gets pushed to the back burner easily! I've taken care of your questions of how to introduce it with 2 weeks worth of lesson plans!

#3 Next up is a great resource for back to school! Classroom jobs in both chevron and polka dots. These are so stinkin' adorable. They would jazz up any classroom instantly!

#4 This little piece of amazingness has been around for awhile, but I gave it a facelift! This is such a fun unit to use at the beginning of the year! It is not writing intensive so all students, no matter their ability level, can have fun with it! There are so many fun pages that there wasn't even enough room to show them all in the preview!

#5 If you are still looking for some amazing centers for back to school, look no more! I have made back to school centers for 1st AND 2nd grade! I just get so tickled when I read the titles because it always makes me want to dance! Ya know, Black Eyed Peas? "Let's Get It Started!" Takes me back to my college days, driving down the road, singing at the top of my lungs!

As school starts up again, I know so many are stockin' up on products and I just have to thank a few amazing people for their sweet, SWEET feedback! I am linking up with Christina for "Fabulous Feedback".

RhoLynda purchased my "Crazy for Conventions" to use with her kiddos. I hope they are as excited about it as RhoLynda! RhoLynda, make sure to email me at flyinghighinfirstgrade@gmail.com I would love to give you a little thank you from my store!

Miriam purchased my "All About Me Book" to use with her first graders for back to school. I just loved the thought she put into her feedback! Miriam, make sure to email me at flyinghighinfirstgrade@gmail.com I would love to give you a little thank you from my store!

And for all of you that made it to the end, pin to Pinterest which unit from my Five for Friday list at the beginning of the post you'd like to win (hope that makes sense), and comment with the pin on this blog post. One entry per person. Make sure you leave your email and I will pick a winner at the end of the weekend! Probably sometime on Sunday evening :)

Good luck!

    1. Hey Katina! Yes you could! You could print the half pages, 2 pages to a page, and shrink them down and they would be the perfect size for the word wall!
